At Tyre Spot, we have two options for you – the Short Service and the Master Service.
Your car will need to be serviced every year in order to maintain its condition. We recommend a Short Service once your car is a year old, and every two years you should upgrade to a Master Service. If you have an older car or are keen for your car to maintain its value, you may opt for a Master Service every year.
* All service schedule’s are quoted as a ‘Basic’ service using standard parts. Some vehicles may require specialist or ‘Non standard’ parts in which price on application will be given. Where petrol vehicles are serviced if spark plugs are iridium, platinum, long life or non basic there will be additional charge. All additional parts will be quoted before fitment for approval by the customer.
Short Service
A Short Service is the minimum service we recommend for a vehicle. Alongside all of the checks we make on your car, we will also replace your oil with 5 liters of the recommend Castrol oil and replace your oil filter.

It can vary depending on the type of Service you choose, but we usually ask that you bring your car in for half a day for a Service. This gives us time to deal with any problems should they arise. The Service itself usually takes around three hours.
Our staff are trained by Castrol to deliver their Service offering. As such, you should expect to find:
- Friendly, helpful teams
- A commitment to quality and service
- Expert car servicing
- Quality built in: Castrol’s advanced engine oils used in every Tyre Spot branch
An MOT test is a legal requirement once your car is three years old, and you will need to book one every year thereafter. A service is not a legal requirement, but it will keep your car in good condition and help maintain its value. It is expected that a car is serviced every year, so you may run into difficulties if you try to sell the car later without an annual service.
A service not only checks your car for any problems, but a service with Tyre Spot will also include a Castrol oil change, oil filter replacement and a few extra checks to make sure your car is performing at its best.
A service will help a car keep its value, improve fuel economy and extend your car’s life. A poorly maintained car can cost more in the long run and a service helps avoid that. Our technicians will look for issues that could affect running costs, performance and efficiency.
