Got my Kia Sportage wheels balanced and they did a good job. After about a week I thought there might be a problem so I took the car back. The man there took the car and immediately checked every aspect of the wheels. The fault seems to be the cheap tyres fitted (not long had the car) move about a little bit. He really put my mind to rest. Definitely recommend this place!

Spot on place, been a couple of times and always had cracking service.

My backbox came off my C320 due to corrosion and I took it to Tyre Spot in the hope of getting it sorted.

They couldn't fix it but removed and John (I think that's his name) advised me of a place in Shiremoor that could possibly sort it, I went there and it's all done.

Asked how much I owed them and they said nothing.

Top quality place with decent guys who know their stuff and if they can't help you they'll give you advice or help you find something or somebody else who can 👌👌

I went in this morning as one of my headlight bulbs had blown.
I stopped on the off chance they could help me out.
Within 10 minutes I was on my way, new bulb fitted with no charge.

My car was showing signs of having a puncture. Popped into Tyre spot Durham this afternoon. Puncture couldn’t be repaired. Mechanic showed us that a nail had gone into tyre. Asked what I wanted to do and I told him I would like a new tyre. I didn’t feel pressured into them doing it or going for the most expensive. I would highly recommend this place. Lovely staff. Thank you for your service.

A good fitting team , helpful and quick. With a full price range for every wheel size. I have been going their for the last couple of years and intend to keep going ( they may regent that as my car was build by the awkward shift 🙂 .

When I arrived I was met with a smooth, well-organised drop-off process, with great facilities available while I waited.

The team really listened to my concerns, especially as I was worried about jack pads being used correctly when changing the tyres on my Tesla Model 3 Performance. They not only used the jack pads, but even cleaned them before placing them back into the bag provided — which really shows attention to detail and care.

They reassured me that I’d been given a great tyre recommendation, and their knowledge and confidence put me completely at ease. You can genuinely feel that this is a family-run business — friendly, honest, and customer-focused from start to finish.

A cracking bunch of people. I’ll definitely be coming back with other vehicles, including our off-road Polaris.

Very friendly and helpful

Went today with a slow puncture. Very helpful staff looked at it straight away. After investigation they worked out it was a faulty valve core. Amazingly they replaced it free of charge. I can’t praise them enough!

Always use this place when I have a puncture or need a new tyre. They fix my issues on the spot. The prices are extremely competitive and I wouldn't ever use another place because of the speed and excellent customer service that exceeds my expectations every time!
