Last month Tyre Spot hosted the visit of key delegates from Brisa Bridgestone Sabancı Tyre Manufacturing and Trading INC, who manufacture Lassa Tyres in Turkey. As the exclusive distributor for the Lassa brand across the North East of England, Tyre Spot welcomed the visit, the first one since the lockdowns, and enjoyed celebrating the strong relationship between the brands that has been built over decades.
Over that time, Tyre Spot has grown the Lassa name in the region and created a good following due to the quality of the tyre and the affordable price point at which the brand sits. Through their Key Dealer Programmes, that popularity has spread, and it was wonderful that Tyre Spot and Lassa were able to welcome a number of their ‘Lassa Key Dealers’ to a hugely successful dealer event at the Copthorne Hotel on the banks of the River Tyne. It was here that the dealers got a chance to learn more about the Brisa company, the more technical aspects of the tyres and the plans for 2023 onwards directly from the Turkish Brisa delegates. There was even a tyre and Lassa related quiz where some of the guests managed to add the likes of wireless headphones, gaming soundbars and fitness trackers as prizes to go with the gift packs that Lassa had provided.
After the event at the Copthorne, everyone took in a nice autumn walk along the quayside, beneath the famous Tyne Bridge to the Tomahawk Steakhouse. There, the North East’s Lassa Key Dealers came together, over fantastic food and the odd drink, with staff from Lassa and Tyre Spot to celebrate a successful year of business partnerships and look forward to the exciting future with the brand.
